Belfast City Council awards BOT volunteers with Team Award

Our Back on Track volunteers picked up the ‘Team Award’ at the Belfast City Council Older Volunteer Recognition Awards on Friday 5th December. Belfast High Sheriff, Alderman Lydia Patterson, and Councillor Bernie Kelly hosted the prestigious event which recognises the contribution made by those over 60 to the voluntary and community sectors. Alderman Patterson congratulated all nominees and the organisations which they served-

“The dedication shown by everyone is heart warming but also a challenge to all of us, young and older, to do more to help organisations like yours with the valuable work you do in reaching out to people of all ages and status. Today is our way of saying thank you to all of you”

Sólás is very proud to have such generous and enthusiastic volunteers and we wholeheartedly thank you for your contribution to our charity.
