Attachment Disorder and CBT training day for BOT volunteers
On 28th November our Temp BOT Coordinator Kate organised a training day for the Back on Track volunteers around 'Little People in the Land of Giants' which focused on attachment disorder and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. The training was delivered by Dympna McKeown, who specialises in counselling especially for children and women. The training helped the volunteers to tailor their approach around the emotional needs of the children they are working with.
All the volunteers agreed it will help in their work with children on the BOT and education programmes.
To register on any of our future volunteer training opportunities please email firstname.lastname@example.org (education programme) or email@example.com (ASD programme).
