June 23, 2014

Unique volunteering opportunities for Retired Teachers to provide 1:1 support to children, with additional educational needs, in primary schools  in West and North Belfast, Enniskillen and Derry.  One morning per week is required for a minimum of 15 weeks, full induction will be provided and the start date will be mid September 2014.  Please contact Anne Cahill on 02890 247600 or email anne@solasbt7.com for further information and registration pack.

The programme has had overwhelming success in Holy Trinity Primary in Enniskillen where, under the guidance of school SENCO Una Williams, it has been running for the last 2 years.

Our educational programme Co-ordinator, Anne Cahill is delighted to extend the reach of the programme to additional Fermanagh based schools.  She said:

“This programme has continued to go from strength to strength over the last 4 years and without doubt this success can be attributed to the hard work and commitment of our fantastic team of retired teachers who volunteer on a weekly basis, to deliver our programme”.
