I completed a BSc (Hons) in Social Psychology in 2013, and a City & Guilds L4 Unit Certificate in Supporting Individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions in 2015. I also completed the CACHE L3 Certificate Supporting Individuals with A Learning Disability through Sólás in 2016. I have worked with children from various backgrounds for 5 years now.

I have been working with Sólás since September 2015, starting as an After-school club assistant and summer scheme assistant. I helped deliver The Patch transition to adulthood pilot in January 2016 and and I have also been involved in delivering Home Support sessions to children displaying challenging behaviours in their own homes. I am currently the Early Years Programme Coordinator for 2 to 3 year olds (Seedlings) and 3-4 year olds (Sunflowers) displaying the first signs of autism or developmental delays. 

 

I really enjoy working with children on the Autism Spectrum and what makes a huge difference to me is contributing to their development.
