Grace Clydesdale

HR & Communications Manager

Grace completed her bachelor’s degree in Modern History at Queen’s University in 2009. She went on to continue her studies with a postgraduate degree in Management at Swansea University in 2011 and this developed her interest in business and marketing. Whilst studying, Grace volunteered at Barettstown camp for seriously ill children in Co. Kildare, which really gave her an interest in working with children and young people. She has experience within the education sector, having worked in the past for the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA).

Grace joined Sólás in January 2014 as the marketing and training officer for our Tonnta podcasting project. This involved working with children and young people to create audio and video content around areas of the national curriculum. She developed 'The Patch' vocational training and development programme for the 18+ bracket incorporating the use of aquaponics to deliver practical skills with an accredited qualification and has recently trained to take a role heading the Sólás HR function.
